Who can enroll
You’re eligible for all the benefits on this site if you’re a regular full-time employee, or a part-time employee working at least 30 hours a week.
Who you can cover:
When coverage starts
For new hires, benefits begin the first of the month after your hire date. If your hire date is the 1st, they begin that day. Elections made during open enrollment take effect January 1.
When coverage ends
Your medical, dental, and vision coverage ends the last day of the month your employment ends. Your life and disability coverage ends on your termination date. Some coverage can be continued (portability).
Changing Benefits After Enrollment
The benefit elections you make as a new hire or during Open Enrollment will remain in effect through December 31 and may not be changed unless you experience a Qualified Life Event (QLE). A Qualifying Life Event allows an employee to make mid-year election changes. You have 30 days from the QLE to make the change.
